Sam Dubiner is a Thai-Canadian photographer and creative based in Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Working under the DVARAPALAS banner, Sam focuses on still and motion photography that leans toward Y2K aesthetics.
Influenced by The Designers Republic, Robert Valley, GMUNK, Masaaki Yuasa, and Wolfgang Tillmans, his practise centres on experimentation, cross-disciplinary curiosity, and a continual drive to evolve within new media.
Sam’s work includes projects for Tuffskin Canada, Noble Street Studios, Next Music From Tokyo and Loveless Festival.
He is currently the in-house photographer for MIXX Sound Network and Club 401.
